Responsibilities 

  • As a member of the Corporate Development team, you will play an active role in strategic partnerships, joint ventures, capital raising, and acquisitions. You will support transaction execution using financial, strategic, project management, and negotiation skills in partnership with senior team members and cross-functional workstream leads. 
  • You will complete valuation analysis, net working capital analysis, scenario modeling, synergy assessment, and financial impact analysis. 
  • This will be an integral role within the Corporate Development team. You will work closely with Rivian’s finance, sales, operations, product, and engineering teams to drive our growth strategy. 

Requirements 

  • 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, corporate development, and/or other related fields 
  • Extremely strong analytical and financial modeling skills (ability to build complex operating, financial, and valuation models to evaluate transaction economics and perform sensitivity analysis) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner 
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Bachelors Degree from accredited university - preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to Stand or Sit for 8-12 hours/day
  • Must be able to Talk/Hear - required to communicate using telephone, e-mail, internal messaging applications, and video conferencing
  • Must be able to See - ability to view, read, and interpret documents, e-mail, messages, and spreadsheets.
