We are looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to join us on our path to rapid industrial decarbonization. You will work within the Corporate Development team to support capital raising and strategic transactions. You will be responsible for building financial models, preparing presentation materials, and supporting due-diligence activities for a range of transactions, across equity, debt, project financing, M&A, and strategic partnerships. You have financial modeling capabilities, experience preparing client or investor presentations, and a strong understanding of corporate finance and strategy.
You will work in-person at our Natick, MA site, alongside the Corporate Development team. You will report into the lead Corporate Development Associate.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage complex financial models of the business and other associated transactions or activities. Interface with teams including engineering, manufacturing, sales and finance to ensure financial forecasts are sufficiently accurate
- Build and apply valuation models based on financial analysis including trading multiples, discounted cash flow analysis and comparable transactions analysis
- Prepare detailed presentations and memos for internal and external use, on capital raises, other strategic transactions, and internal initiatives
- Support due diligence processes with prospective capital providers, coordinating internal and external team members and counterparties
- Support assessment potential M&A and strategic partnership ideas across technology, manufacturing, operations and project development
- Analyze market trends to drive business strategy decisions, distilling findings and preparing in-depth reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in corporate finance, finance or related field
- 2+ years of full-time experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate development, corporate finance or related field, or equivalent experience
- Expert-level MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong financial modeling skills, including experience taking ownership of financial model
- Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance principles, including valuation techniques
- Strong understanding of energy transition landscape, and hydrogen in particular

Compensation and Benefits | P2
Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package. We feel strongly that our team should not have to worry about having quality healthcare. In addition to the base salary offered, the hired applicant may receive:
