We are developing our online commodity marketplace which allows farmers to find more sellers and buyers and to identify the best possible deals out there. We are looking forward to giving you access to the Agreena platform, from which we will enable farmers to easily access and identify the best prices on agricultural commodities delivered by both local and international market players. Both farmers and trading houses will be able to post offers in this open cross-border online market place. We hope you will join us on this journey towards a more open market.

The demand and interest for our service is increasing rapidly, which is why we are looking for an entrepreneurial candidate within the industry that can lead the process of exploring, validating and expanding Agreena in Brazil.

The ideal consultant will have the knowhow of the local market, with a deep structural understanding and network within the locally based agricultural holdings, the political landscape, industry associations and other key players within the space.

As a person, you are energetic and take initiative to get things done. Your work is structured, and you can manage priorities and maintain timelines for multiple activities. You work well independently and are comfortable with remote work and travel.

Please note you must be located in and authorised to work in Brazil for this position.

How will you make an impact:

You will be in charge of validating Agreena and preparing the market for a full launch with support from headquarters. Be well-versed in all business matters & the local ecosystem. You will therefore need to be capable of running very practical tasks as well as complex strategic initiatives on behalf of Agreena.

You will be the face and the voice of Agreena in Brazil, as well as having the responsibility for both commercial and political communication towards the market. It’s key that you are interested in developing and executing the local go to market strategy together with the support from headquarters and your local team.

One of your first tasks will be to map out all the important industry players that are key to a successful expansion. This is both in terms of commercial partnership as well as the political and regulatory stakeholders that are key to the development of the market.
