We are expanding our team at Octopus Energy Eco and we're looking for a Compliance Officer to join us within our Eco Scheme department.

We’re expanding our compliance team here at Octopus Energy ECO. We’re responsible for managing Octopus Energy’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO). We’re looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Submissions Team. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone in the industry looking to expand their knowledge in the workings of ECO in a Utility environment.

This position is a hybrid role, with 3 days in our new Nottingham office, and 2 days working remotely.

What you'll do

Audit ECO submissions to in-house and Ofgem compliance

Receipt measures, send compliance reports to installers and manage their returns

Support new installers in understanding submissions processes

Answer ECO compliance queries in shared Mailbox and Telephone Line

Develop and maintain good working relationships with Installers

Assist in notifying Ofgem of submission

Answer exception requests from Ofgem

What you'll need

Experience of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme

Experience in auditing or building ECO submissions for at least one measure type

Excellent communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to learn complicated compliance rules and communicate these effectively

Self-motivation to thrive working remotely

Salary: £26,000 (increasing to £28,500 at probation)
