Your role and your team:
As part of the IT Infrastructure team, you will be accountable for designing, implement and running Lilium´s overall Cloud and on-premises network.
Our IT team enables our business with flexible, scalable, fit-for-purpose and secure IT solutions, covering all areas from Digital Workplace, Identity and Access Management, Connectivity, Cloud platform engineering as well as highly secure, high performance and reliable data center services.
Your Day to Day:
- Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure for a hybrid, multi-could environment
- Deliver projects (both as a lead engineer and as a contributor) to ensure our Network infrastructure is fit for purpose, well maintained and is an industry best practice standard that supports the transition to cloud services
- Demonstrate expertise with Microsoft Azure (or AWS) and similar cloud services and have experience designing, configuring, provisioning, and deploying solutions specifically at the network layer
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of networking, it´s various vendors & technologies such as Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing & Switching
- Develop network services that use infrastructure as code to automate the delivery of cloud network components
- Performing feasibility studies and IT concepts, market research and vendor evaluations
- Experience working with Cybersecurity teams on infrastructure or applications security compliance
- Help ensure the availability of the company network and cloud network using pro-active monitoring and alerting
- Operational responsibility for Lilium´s Connectivity
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science, or similar working experience
- 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation and administration
- Proven experience with public cloud providers, Azure preferred and AWS good to have.
- Strong automation exposure with hands on scripting/programming experience
- Strong work experience with Palo Alto Suite and Aviatrix
- Knowledge and experience with internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS and/or OSPF, IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL and other network services
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, NAT
- Experience with OT architectures & Software-Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployment
- Knowledge and experience with network operating systems such as Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IOS
- Strong Experience with ITIL framework and ITSM
- Customer focus and service oriented
- Ability to work in a highly energetic, dynamic and fast-moving environment
- Willing and able to take on new and unfamiliar IT technologies, constant learning
- Strong motivation to help build and shape the organisation, structures and processes
- Fluent English language skills are essential, any other languages would be beneficial

- Aviatrix
- Cisco or Security+ certifications
- ITIL 4 Foundation
- Project Management certification
