About This Role:
As a valued member of the Cloud Deployments team, you will assist with the installation of servers and network infrastructure to achieve industry leading reliability and uptime of Crusoe’s high performance computing solutions.
A Day In The Life:
Participate in the physical infrastructure installation, including the racking, stacking, and structured cabling of everything in the rack, such as servers, switches, and related hardware within data center facilities
Maintain detailed documentation, including diagrams and operational procedures for rack layouts, cabling, and power distribution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems into existing data center environments
Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal working hours or after hours
Utilize logic to analyze and solve problems including on-site troubleshooting of downed connections
Manage contractor services ensuring quality work product
On-Call for operational alerts
Travel required (~75% of the time)
If not actively racking, stacking and cabling on a deployment, candidate will assist the Data center Operations Team:
Resolving hardware failures
In collaboration with the Infrastructure Systems team, support burnin/stress testing of new hardware and the quick resolution of any issues
Assist with maintaining a hardware issue tracker that can be shared with hardware vendors as appropriate
Open support tickets with hardware vendors as needed
Maintain spares inventory and backfill as required
Serve as datacenter liaison for vendor support personnel
Support qualification of new hardware
You will Thrive in this role if:
At least 1 year of experience in data center deployments/infrastructure
Strong hands-on technical background with experience on computer and network gear, and supporting physical infrastructure (structured cabling to include fiber & CAT6)
Can lift 50 lbs and work in a physically challenging (sound/vibration/thermal) environment
Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment
Proficient in using software for visualizing rack elevations, cable maps and floor layouts
Effective problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Reliable transportation to travel when necessary

Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $30 - $33/hour. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
