Help us make a big green dent in the universe. We're on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution, and we need loads more people to help us make our vision a reality.

Kraken Technologies is a company within Octopus Energy Group who are licensing our Kraken platform to energy suppliers globally. Current clients are EDF, EON Next, Origin, Plenitude and Tokyo Gas - with many more expected to join over the next few years.

What will you be doing?
We are currently implementing Kraken into a large Japanese client, and are looking to expand the team leading operational transformation alongside the platform implementation.

The Client Implementation Lead will cover both the operating model e.g. how things are organised and get done around here, as well as the operating environment with direct responsibility for coordinating, managing, building, and delivering Kraken’s cultural change programmes alongside our client. They will need to work in partnership with the technology teams, Product Managers, and client teams.

The Client Implementation Leads: live & breathe the Kraken ways of working, identify problems, create solutions, workshops and training, and effectively communicate these to our clients. They will bring technology, people, and processes together to innovate business cultural change for our clients.

If this sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you.

Studies have shown that some groups of people, like women, are less likely to apply to a role unless they meet 100% of the job requirements. Whoever you are, if you like one of our jobs, we encourage you to apply as you might just be the candidate we hire. Across Octopus, we're looking for genuinely decent people who are honest and empathetic. Our people are our strongest asset and the unique skills and perspectives people bring to the team are the driving force of our success. As an equal opportunity employer, we do not discriminate on the basis of any protected attribute. Our commitment is to provide equal opportunities, an inclusive work environment, and fairness for everyone.

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Aiding in the operations transformation of clients:
  • Collaborate with the wider Kraken Technologies Implementation team and clients to develop and deliver a wider range of cultural transformation programmes, including leadership development and coaching.
  • Develop training programs and materials to support the onboarding and ongoing development of clients.
  • Aid in the creation of plans, timelines, and resources required for successful deployment
  • Keeping track of project progress, escalating issues, and resolving blockers when they arise.

  • Coaching and workshop delivery:
  • Work closely with the wider Kraken Tech team to deliver coaching and mentorship to clients as part of their operational transformation journeys
  • Prepare and deliver workshop content for training groups and leadership development
  • Work with the client to identify needs-based operational analysis and help them translate this into programmes to deliver to their teams
