We are looking for a Catalyst Coating Engineer to join our R&D Laboratory. You will be tasked with helping us install and operate various analytical instrumentation and develop methods for analyzing catalysts. You will work closely with our scientists and engineers working on the future of water electrolyzers. 

You will work onsite in our Lab in Natick, MA, and report to the Catalyst Tech Lead.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, characterize and test electrodes
  • Execute DOE and preliminary robust engineering studies
  • Support cross functional teams with complex laboratory tasks
  • Set up mixing, coating and analytical equipment
  • Comply with all safety protocols and standards

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree 
  • 1-2 years experience handling solvents, powders and hazardous materials
  • 1+ years experience working in a wet chemical lab or manufacturing environment (University Lab Courses Included) 

Physical Qualification

  • Must work in a standing or seated position for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours
  • Significant walking or other means of mobility
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and must adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
  • Must reach, bend, stoop, push or pull and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud at times
  • Must wear appropriate PPE

$72,000$79,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
