We are developing our online commodity marketplace which allows farmers to find more sellers and buyers and to identify the best possible deals out there. We are looking forward to giving you access to the Agreena platform, from which we will enable farmers to easily access and identify the best prices on agricultural commodities delivered by both local and international market players. The recently established Business Intelligence department is looking for a skilled BI Analyst who will help lay down the foundations to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The right candidate is proactive, self-motivated and a good communicator with a proven ability to build relationships and enable collaboration throughout the entire organization. This role requires deriving actionable insights from complex data sets and working closely with key stakeholders across the company to drive meaningful business outcomes. 

As a BI Analyst at Agreena, you will play a pivotal role in driving a mindset shift and shape the future of our data-driven culture, drive impactful decision-making, and lay the groundwork for innovative analytical solutions that support and accelerate our growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analytics products: 
  • Develop and maintain BI solutions, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
    Extract and manipulate data from diverse sources to generate comprehensive reports and visualizations.
    Conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Proactively build and maintain business partnerships with diverse teams, departments, and stakeholders, promoting a culture of data-driven decision making.
  • Communication:
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Best practices: 
  • Play a key role in establishing best practices and processes for the whole company.

    Skills we're looking for:

  • Experience with database and data model design for business intelligence and analytics solutions.
  • Enthusiasm and technical skills to take lead with regard to business data and reporting.
  • Hands on experience working with SQL, databases, ETL and reporting.
  • Proactive and solution oriented thinker who can identify problems and opportunities and push forward valuable business insights.
  • Team oriented with great communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable liaising with technical and business counterparts and adjusting your storytelling approach appropriately.
