Lucid Motors is looking for a highly motivated Business Coordinator to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment on cross-functional projects supporting Powertrain Manufacturing engineering, production, maintenance, quality and other areas. The Business Coordinator will work alongside department leadership to drive improvements and standardization in department-wide communications, documentation, data management, business processes and continuous improvement.

You Will:

  • Support department Director in all facets of the business
  • Critical department data management: stay abreast of business performance and lead KPI data reviews
  • Analyze data, drive insights and strategic planning, and deliver actionable solutions  
  • Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish
  • Recommend and validate improvements to streamline existing business operations, sustain business processes
  • Engage with production, engineering, maintenance and quality teams in daily operations; manage initiatives and drive programs to optimize Lucid Production System performance  
  • Drive cross-functional meeting governance: establish meeting agendas, request/secure meeting materials to schedule, deliver materials in advance of meeting to optimize collaborative meeting time 
  • Manage department budgeting and purchasing processes; collaborate with Finance teams to drive cost improvement efforts for the department 
  • Manage department headcount and requisitions; support production and engineering hiring efforts 
  • Facilitate regular updates to senior management on critical business topics 
  • Organize department-level communications and project/operations reviews 
  • You Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics, commerce, or a related field of study required. Engineering degree strongly preferred
  • Must be a self-starter and results oriented 
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and needs 
  • Strong time management skills 
  • Willingness to learn new topics and subjects as needed to complete assigned tasks 
  • Able to navigate ambiguity 
  • Comfortable working with people in a matrixed environment 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  • Comfortable to give effective presentations to and facilitate meeting with all levels of the organization 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills  
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Ability to foster and support a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork; able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across all departments 
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, commerce, or a related field of study. Engineering degree preferred. 
  • Three or more years of business experience 
  • Three or more years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred
