We are developing our online commodity marketplace which allows farmers to find more sellers and buyers and to identify the best possible deals out there. We are looking forward to giving you access to the Agreena platform, from which we will enable farmers to easily access and identify the best prices on agricultural commodities delivered by both local and international market players. Both farmers and trading houses will be able to post offers in this open cross-border online market place. We hope you will join us on this journey towards a more open market.

The Brand & Communications Lead is an essential position we are currently recruiting for. It is a fantastic opportunity for a driven leader ready to take on an exciting career challenge and join a fast growing organisation leading the regenerative agriculture journey. This is a people manager position reporting directly to the CMO. You will be working across the organisation shaping, defining, delivering, maintaining and communicating the messaging map, the brand, the stories and the core values we represent.
You are a gifted storyteller who understands how to effectively position a message in the market, how to engage with the press, analysts, influencers, decision makers and top customers and partners, while orchestrating multiple stakeholders inputs to design and land best in class messaging and assets in the market.

How you will make an impact:

  • Plan, develop, prioritise and deliver on the overall brand and communications strategy.
  • Be responsible for the overall strategic direction, delivery and success of internal and external communications strategies.
  • Drive high quality, engaging and effective messaging and communications that will inform and influence decisions-makers globally.
  • Deliver end to end management of brand marketing strategies driving top level brand awareness.
  • Provide a centre of brand excellence for all resources at Agreena.
  • Explore and propose innovative approaches to brand from brand positioning, visual identity and tone of voice.
  • Set the copywriting and creative standards for content development.
  • Deliver in a consistent way across all touch points.
  • Position and activate the Agreena brand across multiple internal and external channels: internal communications, website, PR / AR, influencers, partners, tier 1 events (WEF, COP, etc.).
  • Deliver against agreed upon annual brand and communications KPIs, and budget.
  • Support the executive leadership team in decision making and strategy
  • Work cross functionally across the marketing, people, product and sales organisations.
  • When needed identify, enrol and manage agencies, (brand, copywriting and PR), defining their scope of work and measuring their delivery: on target, on budget and aligned to KPIs.
  • Overview and manage the overall associated budget.
  • Who we’re looking for:

  • Have a significant brand and communications experience at a senior level and across disciplines, including how to devise, plan and implement communications, brand and implementation strategies.
  • Excellent copywriting and creative skills.
  • Experience with Brand building.
  • Experience with managing the corporate brand.
  •  Confident leader with ability to manage and flex across a broad remit.
  •  Advanced collaboration, influencing and stakeholder engagement at a senior level skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where individual initiative is critical.
  • Flexibility, willing to step up to the challenge with a solution focused mindset.
  • Hands-on, strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills

  • Experience building a brand and positioning a company as a thought leader in a specific industry or field
  • Strong network of media contacts and relationships with industry influencers and key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximise impact and ROI.
