Battery Engineering Intern - Data

What you’ll do: 

• Build data automation and analysis set up for battery thermal runaway testing, pack testing and cell characterization testing
• Support battery pack and cell test regiments
• Craft automated analysis scripts in Python to extract key performance indicators from standardized battery test data
• Generate plots and data visualization in Python using standard libraries
• Version control analysis scripts and reports
• Build out documentation to enable other engineers to perform customized analyses

What you need:

• Current standing junior, senior, or graduate student at accredited college or university in an engineering discipline
• Ability to learn and adapt within an ambiguous environment
• Strong organization and project management skills 
• Eager to learn, positive attitude and highly motivated
• Programming experience in preferably Python
• Strong communication skills

Bonus Qualifications:

• Understanding of electric machinery whether automotive or aerospace, eVTOL is a plus 
• Knowledge of Google suite applications
• Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket version control
• Battery/EV/eVTOL knowledge or experience
• Experience writing SQL queries

Additional Details: 

• Program duration will be approximately June - August 2023 
• Must be able to work a full time schedule (approximately 40 hours per week) at our office location 
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
