About the company:

Pivot Energy is a Denver-based renewable energy company specializing in the development, financing, and management of solar and battery energy storage solutions for businesses, municipalities, universities, schools, hospitals (MUSH), utilities, and communities. The company offers a comprehensive suite of products including onsite solar and energy storage systems, offsite power purchase agreements, and community-scale solar programs that allow customers to access renewable energy benefits without requiring rooftop installations. Pivot also develops and operates SunCentral, a proprietary community solar management software platform designed to streamline subscriber management for utilities and solar developers. Pivot Energy's mission centers on accelerating the transition to clean energy by making renewable solutions accessible and practical for a wide range of customers. The company works to help clients reduce energy costs, meet sustainability targets, and lower carbon emissions through tailored multi-product strategies. Notable partnerships and projects include work with the University of Denver on carbon neutrality goals and a collaboration with the Sustain Our Future Foundation involving a $400,000 community investment. What distinguishes Pivot Energy is its integrated approach combining project development expertise, proprietary software tools, and a focus on community impact alongside commercial outcomes. The company serves both end-use customers and industry partners such as independent solar developers and utilities, positioning itself as both a developer and an enabler within the broader renewable energy ecosystem. Pivot Energy has been recognized as a top Colorado employer for 2026, reflecting its growth and commitment to its workforce in the renewables sector.
