ICON is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our Product Management Department. As an Associate Product Manager, you will be responsible for initiatives that improve the efficiency of operators who print homes using ICON’s robotic 3D printers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives focused on improving operator experience, training, and efficiency. This role is based at ICON’s Austin, TX campus and will report to the Director of Product. Additionally, moderate travel may be required to ICON’s jobsites.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Identify near and long-term opportunities spanning all operator (user) journeys. Translate insights and operator needs into product requirements and define measurable outcomes.
  • Identify gaps in operator training and opportunities to increase efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and successfully deploy training solutions to improve success.
  • Clearly communicate product plans, needs, and desired outcomes to a wide spectrum of internal stakeholders including Engineering, Operations, and UX.
  • Lead product development sprints with a strong focus on execution, and build processes that will scale as we grow.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 1+ years as a product manager, or related product development experience in the construction or robotics industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to distill complex roadmaps and initiatives into
    actionable tasks.

 

 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Prior experience with robotics and/or 3D printing.
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • An MBA degree is a plus.
