Reports To

Accounts Receivable Director

Objective / Purpose

Management of credit operations that will increase distribution and sales volume, utilizing sound, constructive credit policies and practices that will contribute to the profit of the company and increase customer stability and satisfaction, taking into consideration prompt turnover and adequate protection of the company’s investment in accounts receivable. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, focus, motivated, and creative, able to “think outside the box” and plan strategically.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

  • Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
  • Review and understanding of customer’s account statement and creating payment strategies to convert sales into cash without delay.
  • Review and understanding of financial statement and credit scores analysis to make a sound recommendation and/or establish credit limit within assigned parameters.
  • Interface with sales personnel to streamline customer credit and cash flow related issues.
  • High degree of professionalism and strong problem resolution capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with external and internal customers.
  • Communicate in a timely manner stubborn issues and credit assessment cases with details and recommended action.
  • Friendly with an upbeat attitude, hardworking, committed to excellence, providing world class customer service.
  • Manage special projects assigned by Management.

Minimum Qualifications / Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /Finance or a related field
  • + 5 years’ experience in credit assessment, and related accounting experience including corporate environment.
  • Financial business acumen as demonstrated by previous work experience.
  • Ability to work independently and present solutions to issues.
  • Basic knowledge of sales, accounting, credit and collections, financial statement analysis.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong people skills. Ability to communicate in a clear, articulately, efficiently, and professionally in oral and written.
  • Microsoft Office, emphasis in Excel, Word, and Pivot.
  • Preferred experience with enterprise systems (ex: NetSuite, Sales Force, Avalara and etc.)
  • Able to work on a flexible schedule and work with different teams within OTC.

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $60,000 to $80,750. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
