What You’ll Do:
• Perform test predictions and document stress analysis to support Airframe design and ensure safety of flight.
• Act as focal point for performing non-linear finite element analysis to support structural design.
• Perform and correlate stress analysis test predictions to test results in order to validate stress engineering support for aircraft detailed design.
• Provide documented stress analysis using traditionally accepted industry standards to support airframe and system drawing release.
• Act as Archer focal point for performing non-linear finite element analysis to support aircraft structural analysis.
• Complete analysis using the appropriate material environmental, joint, and ultimate safety factors to satisfy Title 14 CFR Part 23 FAA and other foreign government regulations.
• Collaborate with External Loads team to support aircraft stiffness requirements that are unique to the Archer Midnight configuration.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience as a Structural Design and Analysis Engineer, or in a related role, where they have gained experience with CAE software and structural analysis using both linear and nonlinear finite element models, performing hand calculations and documenting their findings in detailed stress reports.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be skilled with application of FAR 23 standards.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 25% domestic travel.
