ADAS Vehicle Test Driver, Self-Driving

Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>Role Summary</strong></p> <p>You will be working directly with the ADAS Test &amp; Validation team to support high volume data collection to enable the development of incredible new self-driving technologies.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operating prototype and modified production vehicles for long durations of time on public roads and proving ground environments</li> <li>Collecting and uploading data to our internal storage solution</li> <li>Perform basic vehicle maintenance</li> <li>Operation of in-vehicle data logging system and performing periodic data integrity checks</li> <li>Communicating with data collection campaign requestors</li> </ul> <div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div> <ul> <li>Valid Drivers License</li> <li>Automotive background</li> <li>Willingness to travel frequently for up to 2-3 weeks in some cases</li> <li>Good communication skills and highly motivated</li> </ul> <div><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></div> <ul> <li>Technical Degree/Certification</li> <li>Additional driver training program certifications/licenses</li> <li>Background in testing ADAS features&nbsp;</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h4>Equal Opportunity</h4> <p>Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
