As a Yard Coordinator, you will be responsible for moving and managing yard inventory on premise at our Casa Grande location.

You Will:
Organize and prioritize trailer placement in collaboration with the OBD/IBD CoordinatorsSuccessfully place equipment at corresponding doors, chock tires, and set trailer jacksInspect containers for damage or unsafe alterations and report any findings to managementInstruct drivers on the importance of safety procedures as outlined by the Logistics ManagerWork to improve processes and procedures to maximize safety, effectiveness, and efficiencyObserve, audit, comply with all OSHA, CTPAT/FTZ, Fire and Preventive Safety requirementsComplete daily inspection of jockey truck noting any maintenance issues to managementMaintain the cleanliness of outdoor yard area by routinely removing trash and debrisOperate vehicles in a safe manner, by following all safety rules and demonstrating professional command of the equipmentArrange trailers in yard to ensure yard space is maximized.Assist shop with pulling trailers in/out of trailer yardMove trailers within the designated areas as required by the operationMust have previous yard switcher experienceThe ability to perform freight handling duties with a forklift or manual pallet jack/fork-liftThe ability to follow instructions, either while working independently, or as part of a teamA stable/consistent work historySecondary Responsibilities could include the following:
Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisorInspect equipment and verify/report damage or concernsSome familiarity with computers with the ability to run and print basic reportsIdentify and communicate exceptions to the leadership teamFollow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperworkAbility to work overtime and weekends as neededFlexibility to train and work in multiple areasWork safely and maintain a clean work environmentYou Bring:
