We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor. The successful candidate will have spent two (2) or more years in a warehouse environment, receiving, and shipping functions. The candidate is detail-oriented and possesses the physical and mental stamina this role requires.  You will play an important role in ensuring our warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency.

The Role:

  • Coordinate all warehouse, order picking, and inventory operations.
  • Lead by example and foster the 6S and Safety culture within the warehouse.
  • Supervise the compliance audits of the controls and SOPs of the movement of goods interdepartmentally and ensuring that this is tracked and recorded systematically.
  • Establish and manage shrinkage control processes.
  • Supervise the maintenance of accurate inventory through standard inventory management processes (ABC and cycle counts, physical inventory, error investigation).
  • Be vigilant in maintaining the WMS and act as a WMS super user.
  • Have full warehouse inventory responsibility and ownership including wall to wall inventories, mandatory cycle counts inventory audits.
  • Assure inventory and restock compliance with corporate warehouse policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Maintain inventory records; fills requisitions, work orders or requests for new items and distributes items; marks products with identifying information; opens bales, crates, boxes, and other containers; sorts and stores as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment; performs job safely; reports unsafe and/or hazardous conditions.
  • Issues and delivers items to their proper destinations; obtains signatures to ensure proper documentation of delivery/receipt; coordinates loading of vehicles for delivery.
  • Manage and maintain stock control; plans future needs and adjusts par levels; processes stock orders; reviews orders; controls dead stock; maintains scheduling of deliveries on dock.
  • Manage stock consolidations based on depletion percentages by location.
  • Audit returns process for damaged or returnable products and materials.
  • Perform root cause analysis for exceptions/discrepancies and provide corrective action.
  • Recommend changes in process to improve the warehouse area and operating efficiency. Continuous improvement is key.
  • Monitor product movement within WMS for historical data and analysis.
  • Manage and provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting from WMS extraction in proper format for analysis and Key Performance Indicator assessment.
  • Plan and supervise the staff to ensure cycle counts are performed at levels in accordance with agreements and Key Performance Indicator's.
  • Monitor and control inventory variances, overseeing inventory adjustment validation and resolution process.
  • Supervise the audits to assure proper maintenance of inbound and outbound shipment records.
  • Monitor and control warehouse processes and operation to insure timely visibility of product.
  • Establish the appropriate and ensure staffing levels to meet cycle count and audit requirements per company policies.
  • Assist the Warehouse Inventory Manager with the preparation and performance of reconciliation of the ERP and FTZ inventory systems.

  • Qualifications:

  • 3+ years total proven track record of inventory control, analytics, stock keeping unit policies or forecasting in a warehouse environment as the supervisor and or team lead.
  • Excellent and thorough knowledge of warehouse environment.
  • In depth knowledge of warehouse processes associated with "Best Practices" and Logistics Excellence.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with WMS software applications.
  • Technical degree or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must be forklift trained and certified within 30 days of hire.
