Warehouse Forklift Operator (Monday - Friday; 10am - 6:30pm)

The Role:

The Warehouse Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in Meati's supply chain operations by efficiently handling the receiving and shipping of materials and finished goods. This individual will ensure that raw and packaging materials are supplied to production areas on time and that all documentation for goods shipped and received is accurate. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to the success of our growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately receive incoming raw materials and packaging goods; document and track quantities as required.
• Organize, store, and maintain raw/packaging material inventories, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Prepare and load finished goods for shipment, ensuring accurate quantities and proper packaging.
• Supply production lines with raw/packaging materials according to daily schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies, ensuring stock levels are accurate.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Use forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to move, stack, and organize materials safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and production operations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience is preferred.
• Licensed forklift operator is required.
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to quickly learn processes and work effectively as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work performance.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.

Compensation:

• $21.00 per hour with eligibility for quarterly bonuses and equity.
• Total compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
