Rivian Delivery & Field Operations is looking for someone who is seeking a position to grow their career both personally and professionally. The Delivery & Field Operations team’s overarching goal is to prepare and implement central business functions to deliver the Rivian electric commercial vehicles. 

As a Vehicle Operations Lead, Germany, you will be responsible for managing the experience for our commercial customers in your region, while meeting the Delivery & Field Operation team’s goals. 

You will need to balance daily work requirements with the needs of the business to provide support to our specialist teams. Leads work in coordination with our 3rd Party Logistics providers, Service, Retail, Brand, Fleet, Facilities amongst other teams to facilitate launching new locations and help manage on-site vehicle prep. You will collaborate with team members on the ground to ensure launches and up and running Service Centers run smoothly when it comes to prepping and delivering vehicles to our corporate customers.  

This Is What You'll Do:

  • Develop a launch schedule, identify resources needed, and coordinate vehicle and paperwork prep with partners 
  • Coordinate with cross functional team members to ensure locations are properly equipped and trained prior to the launch date 
  • Manage relationships with our 3rd Party logistics providers as well as our commercial customers’ counterparts 
  • Train and support the staff of our commercial customers  
  • Monitor and manage quality of the delivered vehicles and the delivery experience of our commercial customers 
  • Help define how the field teams will manage the lot, confirm charging station capacity, and ensure that there are safe and usable drivelines in the lot 

This Is What You'll Need:

  • Resourcefulness, you think on your feet, and ask questions to seek customer centric solutions to problems 
  • At least 6 years of work experience in logistics, vehicle detailing, and lot management, a plus of which at least 2 years of experience managing teams.  
  • Must have A valid EU driver license 
  • Ability to support customers on nights and weekends 
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time 
  • Must have an EU driver’s license 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and German
