We are looking for a UX Designer with at least 6 years of experience to join our team and help shape the future of our web applications. This is a critical role where you will be responsible for designing intuitive, responsive, and user-centered interfaces that enable seamless user experiences across devices.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on designer who can create rapid prototypes, collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, and translate business requirements into elegant, scalable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UX design efforts for responsive web applications, from concept to delivery.
  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive user flows and interfaces.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
  • Ensure consistency with design systems, style guides, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Partner with frontend developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and smooth handoff.
  • Iterate designs based on feedback and evolving requirements, maintaining focus on user experience quality.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on web applications.
  • Proven expertise in designing responsive web prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing real-world projects (responsive designs and prototypes required).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate design decisions.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

By Submitting your application, you understand and agree that your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Candidate Privacy Notice. If you are a California resident, please refer to our California Candidate Privacy Notice.
