The Role

We are looking for an experienced US Country Marketing Manager to build Swytch Bike’s online presence, identify new opportunities, work with the UK marketing team to support sales and marketing efforts, support operations functions and manage our US team.

Our globalised approach relies heavily on building a key presence in the US, one of our key focus markets. This role will hold both intrinsic and extrinsic value by developing and leading our small US based team whilst building awareness of Swytch across the US further cementing our position as global market leader in the eBike conversion kit space.

This roles' responsibilities lie in 4 key areas:

  • Team leadership: You will build and manage a market leading US based team focused across marketing, customer and warranty & service
  • Marketing: You’ll possess important digital skills within ecommerce and will be able to implement the US strategy, working alongside the central marketing team
  • Communication: You’ll build key relationships for Swytch PR and will be the focal point for new business development
  • Growth mindset: You’ll have an entrepreneurial mindset and are capable of growing a startup through dedicated hands on work

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies that are aligned with the Swytch goals in the US market, with the aim to accelerate growth
  • Conduct market research and analysis, providing insights back to the UK team to create a detailed business plan, highlighting key opportunities in the market
  • Own and manage online marketing campaigns across the US region. Directing content for the region
  • Build, develop and manage a US team, focused on growing the Swytch customer base in the US
  • Understand what a ‘Swytch customer’ is in the US and understand their requirements, ensuring their needs are being met through an excellent customer experience
  • Collaborate with our UK teams across marketing, product, operations, customer and service & warranty
  • Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
  • Oversee financial targets and manage budgets, ultimately owning the P&L across the US for Swytch
  • Lead the US based operational teams, who manage warranty operations, working closely with our UK based team

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or Country Manager role within an ecommerce brand
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience across organic and paid marketing campaigns
  • Experience in sales and marketing within an ecommerce or wholesale capacity
  • An analytical mind, able to review data to support decision making
  • Successful track record in driving profitability and sustainable growth in fast paced environments
  • Able to act with strong ownership, independence and critical thinking
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills, capable of growing a high-performing team
