• Be responsible for running test procedures on various rigs
• Liaise with the Design Engineers and test engineers to understand testing requirements and test procedures
• Provide consultation on Design Test procedures and test plans coming up with improvement ideas to minimise test, set-up and change-over duration
• Identify and minimise external noise factors maximising repeatability of the test procedures.
• Develop and implement standard practices for maintaining equipment calibration and specifying new equipment.
• Maintain and keep in operating condition the dynos and rigs.
• Support the definition and data analysis of the tests.
• Act as the first line of root cause and identify if the test failed due to the DUT, procedure or facility.
• Utilize numerical data analysis tools to interpret test results. Document results and provide reports.
• Work with data acquisition systems and control systems to continually improve in-test data recording.
• Coordinate with design engineers to highlight problems and suggest areas for improvement. Source Components, tools and equipment for the rig.
• Support the wiring of the rig (Instrumentation, mains, CAN etc)
