What you’ll do:

Design, develop and maintain a state of the art automation system executing tests in real-time Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) flight simulation environments.
Work with lab owners, system engineers and test engineers to define the requirements for the test automation system, seek feedback, and prioritize the development of new features.
Design and develop software to interface with the system under tests, lab instruments, write and organize tests, collect and record data.
Design and develop user interfaces to schedule test execution and visualize test results.
Organize automated test cases and control versioning.
Support the deployment of the test automation system in new labs and the integration with our continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools.
Write and maintain the documentation of the automated test system.
Provide support to the test automation system users and provide guidance to Test Engineers developing automated test cases.

What you need:

3+ years of experience in a related field.
Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
Familiar with Verification and Validation processes in a test environment.
Experience with continuous integration & test tools like TeamCity or Jenkins, and test automation frameworks.
Experience with time series and relational databases.
Experience with web design and development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Fluent in Python and agile with the Linux command line interface
Master of all types of lab instruments: oscilloscope, RF analyzers etc.
Working knowledge of the Internet Protocol: IP configuration, routing etc.
Excellent technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Bonus qualifications

Experience with requirements based testing, preferably applying ARP4754A, DO-178C, or similar guidelines.
Background using Polarion, DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS.
Experience with tool qualification complying with the RTCA DO-330 standard.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
