Technician (Multiple Positions)

Who You Are

As we scale operations to meet increasing demand, we are seeking multiple Technicians to join our advanced production environment in the upcoming year to support the delivery and new technology initiatives for our first of its kind Silicon Anode manufacturing facility.

In this role, you will play a critical role in operating and optimizing our high-tech manufacturing systems. You will work hands-on with advanced equipment and software, ensuring seamless production while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. This role is ideal for individuals with technical aptitude who are passionate about continuous learning and innovation in a rapidly evolving industry.

Responsibilities and Duties  

• Operate and oversee automated and manual production equipment to meet daily manufacturing targets.
• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams for complex repairs.
• Perform in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Accurately document production data, equipment performance, and material usage.
• Adhere to and enforce workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify inefficiencies or potential improvements and communicate recommendations to supervisors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals and support new product introductions.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of production processes.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in manufacturing, mechanics, or a related field preferred
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work with various tools and equipment
• Knowledge of production workflows, including assembly, packaging, and quality control
• Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and SOPs
• Comfortable working in a shift-based system, including weekends and overtime as required

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time
• Able to occasionally kneel or bend
• Pass a respirator fit test and be able to wear respiratory protection when required
• Wear personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes

The starting base pay for these roles is between $26/hr and $52/hr at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, and equity.  The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for overtime.
