The Powertrain Operations Team is responsible for supporting advanced engineering development activities throughout the Powertrain organization, including prototype build and test of hardware for Lucid Motors’ next generation HV Battery, Drive Unit and Power Electronics programs at our headquarters in Newark, CA.
We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to own the process of creating, reviewing and implementing work instructions, procedures and any other business relevant documentation, for an array of different prototype manufacturing and / or business processes that span across the entire Powertrain organization.

The Role:
Work with cross-functional teams (e.g. DREs, build technicians, TPMs, managers, etc.) to create, review and implement relevant technical documentation, including prototype manufacturing related operational procedures and work instructions, and / or business process procedures, troubleshooting and training materials, etc.Develop a deep understanding of current products and processes, and stay up to date on any future related iterations / changes, to enable you to create / keep accurate and up-to-date technical documentationAssess and determine target audience for relevant technical documentation, and tailor relevant technical documentation content appropriatelyEnsure technical accuracy and validation of content via Lucid internal tools / processes, depending on the type of validation the relevant technical documentation characteristics might call forSecure proper technical documentation management, including, but not limited to, revision control, via Lucid internal tools / processes, as requiredPlan, track and provide regular updates / reports to the appropriate stakeholders using internal collaborative tools / processesCommunicate efficiently and effectively across all levels within Lucid to provide support, as neededAnalyze and review relevant internal processes and technical documentation, and support process improvement efforts, as necessary, to eliminate redundancies, optimize process flow and increase efficiency
Qualifications:
