About the company:

Einride is an industry-disrupting freight technology company providing end-to-end solutions for electric and autonomous shipping.

By deploying technologies that are integrated using its data-driven operating system, Saga, it enables customers to decarbonize their operations by making an immediate shift towards digitalized, electric road freight.

In 2019, Einride became the world’s first company to operate an autonomous, electric freight vehicle on a public road. Its vision is to make Earth a better place through intelligent movement.

Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through our offering – freight capacity as a service – we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.

Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today, we are a team of more than 500 people, and our award-winning technology is being deployed across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients include some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.

The Release & Programme Team within the Einride Autonomous Technologies is responsible for autonomous vehicle software releases and autonomous vehicle programs, including proof of concepts and R&D projects.

As a Technical Programme Manager (TPM) you work on the center stage of the company and are responsible for driving the execution of our autonomous vehicle programs, which will have a significant impact on the business within a medium and long-term timeline. You'll be joining a top talent team of highly ambitious, creative, kind-hearted people who challenge conventional thinking, think big and aim big.

This is a full-time position based in Gothenburg. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible since selection and interviews are held continually. Please note that as part of our standard recruitment process, we conduct a background control on the final candidate for this role. This may include verification of education, employment history, any relevant professional certifications or other information that may be of our interest.

At Einride, we are innovators, building solutions the world has never seen before – but urgently needs. That’s why we take action, and it’s why we are always eager to be challenged. We know that our best innovations come from having a diverse mix of people, including those of different experiences, career paths, and walks of life. By coming together and sharing our perspectives openly – by disagreeing, discussing, and committing – we deliver greater impact.

You will:

  • Be the main point of contact for a whole autonomous vehicle program for all stakeholders involved in the program such as software, hardware, systems engineering, vehicle testing etc.
  • Own, plan, and prioritize the vehicle program timeline synced with the autonomous driving stack software releases
  • Actively bring structure to ambiguity within the program and address project/program roadblocks proactively to ensure on time delivery
  • Regularly report to the top management team about program status
  • Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including tech, product, design, operations, production and aftermarket
  • We expect you to:

  • At least 5 years project-/program management experience within automotive, aerospace or similar industries (software- and hardware co-development)
  • Proven production experience ideally with full project lifecycle from start to finish, including technical, business, financial, product and legal aspects
  • Deep technical understanding of software-hardware co-development on system or vehicle level
  • Used to collaborate with software- and hardware engineers, designers, suppliers, members of C-suite and partners
  • Comfortable balancing multiple concurrent projects in an agile, fast paced and international environment.
  • Highly self-motivated, independent, proactive and solution focused
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) is a must, Swedish is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Bonus

  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile scale-up organization
  • Experience with low volume production such as special vehicle projects
  • Experience within AD/ADAS and e-mobility is a plus
  • Experience with JIRA
