About the company:

Einride is an industry-disrupting freight technology company providing end-to-end solutions for electric and autonomous shipping.

By deploying technologies that are integrated using its data-driven operating system, Saga, it enables customers to decarbonize their operations by making an immediate shift towards digitalized, electric road freight.

In 2019, Einride became the world’s first company to operate an autonomous, electric freight vehicle on a public road. Its vision is to make Earth a better place through intelligent movement.

Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.

Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.

We are looking for an experienced technical product manager to join our product team, building the future of intelligent movement.

In this role, you will be accountable for product management for several of the core technical capability areas in Einride’s freight platform. This includes, but is not limited to, integrations with vehicle OEMs, charge point operators or the transport management systems of Einride's customers, as well as the APIs, interfaces and developer tools that enables Einride to deliver world-class products.

This position is based in Stockholm or Gothenburg. We recommend you submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are held continually.

At Einride, we are innovators, building solutions the world has never seen before – but urgently needs. That’s why we take action, and it’s why we are always eager to be challenged. We know that our best innovations come from having a diverse mix of people, including those of different experiences, career paths, and walks of life. By coming together and sharing our perspectives openly – by disagreeing, discussing, and committing – we deliver greater impact.

What you'll do

  • Technical product vision, strategy, and roadmapping
  • Make connections between high-level business goals and the strategic technical capabilities that Einride needs to to achieve them. Formulate inspiring product visions for your capability areas and align engineering across multiple teams to reach your common vision.
  • Go deep on relevant industry standards and technologies for electrification
  • Your strategy, roadmap and product specifications will be based on deep knowledge and understanding of the underlying platform technology, as well the surrounding technology ecosystem and industry landscape for charging, heavy-duty electric vehicles, and transportation.
  • Manage external and internal stakeholders
  • Lead through influence as you engage with Einride’s partners, customers and fellow product managers to inform product strategy and reach agreement toward common goals.
  • Work together with engineers and architects to reach effective system designs
  • Work with engineers and tech leaders across teams to create alignment and ensure systems are designed to meet business goals as well as compliance requirements.
  • Own business outcomes
  • You will be accountable for formulating business outcomes, and aligning the organization toward achieving them through owning prioritization of work in your capability domains.

    What we're looking for

  • Previous experience of technical product management
  • You have a proven track record of product managing technical capabilities and driving business outcomes in a modern software platform technology company.
  • Strong technical background and architecture experience
  • You have a strong technical background in software engineering in a public cloud environment. As a former developer, you know what good looks like with respect to APIs and technology interfaces, and you identify with the pain points of engineers and developers.
  • Skilled communicator and leader through influence
  • You can effectively adapt your written and spoken communication to business stakeholders, senior management, customers, partners, as well as fellow developers and colleagues. And you do not shy away from creating and making effective presentations when the situation demands it.

  • You are a creative and critical thinker who comfortably manages risk and compliance across a multitude of frameworks - influencing system design to achieve effective compliance outcomes.
  • A burning desire to go deep on electrification industry topics
  • You do not need to be a domain expert from day one - but at Einride you are sure to develop in-depth knowledge across several industry domains, such as charging, heavy-duty electric trucks, and freight transportation.
