Your Role and your Team:

In this position, you will report directly to our Head of Software Intensive Systems and you will work on as a part of the team in state-of-the-art airborne systems for the next-generation aircraft.

Powertrain Software team develops high-performance battery management and motor control applications for our electric powered vertical take off and landing aircraft. This role requires expertise in electric powertrain systems as well as exceptional team building attitude.

Your Day to Day:

Lead, develop and coordinate a team of embedded software engineers
Bring best industry practice into software engineering process, define strategy for powertrain software team.
Ensure high quality delivery and compliance with internal and applicable international regulations
Act as a pro-active team member and share the technical expertise.
Hold regular planning and review meetings
Help to create an inclusive culture where everyone can realise themselves, grow and deliver best results.

Your Profile:

BA/MA in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in leading software teams
Track record in building high-performing engineering teams
Proven experience in managing development of safety critical embedded systems.
Practical experience with model based design (MBD) and application lifecycle management (ALM) systems
Experience in leading certification audits in aerospace (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP-4754A) or automotive (ISO26262) frameworks.
Highly proficient in battery management and motor control solutions of modern vehicles
Agile working methodologies in international teams
