Your role and your team:

Reporting to the Head of R&D Supply Chain Management you will manage supply chain operations for technical development demonstrators (TDD) and ensure material availability on time, on cost and on quality as we head towards start of production of our ground-breaking Lilium jet! 

Leading a team of Supply Chain Experts and collaborating with various interfaces such as Engineering, Logistics, Production Planning & Control as well as suppliers, your primary objectives will be the set up a robust, agile and flexible supply chain enabling a speedy production and testing of technical development demonstrators.

You will implement a performance dashboard and review governance to identify and drive continuous improvement. As a backbone of the business, you will establish a supplier network, that provides short lead time deliveries in line with Lilium Programme priorities.

Your tasks:

  • Steer business operations, prioritize according to business demands and ensure on time / on quality delivery
  • Drive process efficiency by implementing continuous improvement together with process owners and interface functions
  • Ensure balanced workforce planning by proper task assignment, anticipating and weighing the issues & demands that might appear
  • Monitor key performance indicators and dive deep in case of performance deviations
  • Resolve escalations and ad hoc issues and prevent errors sustainable applying practical problem solving
  • Oversee training and qualification of your people to enable a poly competent and flexible team
  • Hire & develop people professionally and match business with individual needs

Your profile:

  • Highly motivated and engaged leader with deep technical and procedural Procurement expertise
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, ideally within automotive or aviation industry
  • Proven record of successful operations management and enhancement
  • Results oriented, comfortable working under pressure and to KPI’s
  • Experience in setting up a reliable supplier network and supplier relationship management
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments and projects
  • High intercultural competencies as well as conceptional, analytical and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-moving and transformative environments
  • IT Skills: Microsoft Office, ERP
  • Language Skills: English minimum C1, German minimum B2
