Job Summary:
At Fluence Energy, demand for our energy storage solutions has never been stronger, and so is our need for talented people to join our team. Currently we are looking for qualified candidates to fill our Logistics Analyst positions. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the company's logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to logistics and supply chain operations, including inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery times.
Partner closely with factory planning teams to maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability to meet customer demand.
Plan and optimize transportation routes to reduce transit times and transportation costs while maintaining on-time delivery performance.
Collaborate with carriers to improve lead times, quality, and reliability of materials and products.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
Prepare and present reports and analyses to management to facilitate informed decision-making.
Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions in transportation or supply.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
3 to 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, including transportation modes, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
Familiarity with logistics and supply chain software systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS). Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
Familiarity with international logistics and import/export regulations.
Experience with lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
Advanced proficiency in data analysis with Excel. SQL certification is a plus.
