Responsibilities
Manage suppliers within a commodity specific environment using APQP methodologies to ensure a robust New Product Introduction through to PPAP Sign offExcellent knowledge of PPAP elements and the documentation or activities required to fulfil each element.Ensure Arrivals business practices and requirements are implemented within the supply chain. Including: Supplier Quality, New Product Quality, Traceability, Material ComplianceLead suppliers regarding ARRIVALS business requirements from the Design for Manufacture discussion through part delivery an into Series Production, whilst maintaining a professional and efficient relationship.Comfortable liaising with all levels within internal global functions such as Global Procurement, Program Engineering, Programme Management and Finance teams. Support Global Commodity Leads with supplier sourcing decisions by auditing and validating a potential suppliers business process.Lead the end-to-end Supplier Quality function within a commodity environment to ensure parts are delivered on time, at the required rate as well as to the required quality standard, as defined by the current build phasesEnsures the implementation of Supplier Quality processes and Systems within Arrival.Root Cause Analysis using 8D methodologies.Supplier management using KPI driven data to ensure continuous experience with the supply chainManages and reports the Quality Risk assessments for the portfolio of products managed.Provide advice and guidance to more junior team membersRequirements
Previous experience in Supplier Quality Management using APQP / PPAP Methodologies in a comparable manufacturing industry (automotive preferred but not essential) and is able to lead a project using these methods.Experience auditing suppliers to ISO9001:2015 or IATF requirementsCompetency in reading Engineering drawings or CAD Models as well as interpreting Specification’s detail into test requirements.Previous experience managing supply chain partners to tight delivery requirements and timing.Well versed in Supplier Quality best practicesFluent in English
