What to expect

As a Stores & Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible designing and developing our aircraft stores configuration in line with Quality System & Aircraft certification requirements. This will involve planning and execution of logistics activities, process development, utilisation & optimisation of our ERP.

You will be working closely with the Build Team Leaders, Procurement Officers and the procurement team, alongside other internal and external stakeholders. This will involve strong collaboration & communication communication skills, as the role will ensure aircraft parts are delivered on-time & to the correct location.

What you'll do

  •  Design and develop the aircraft stores configuration in line with Quality System and future certification requirements

  • Create processes to ensure all receipt and picking is in line with required standard

  • Logistics to ensure aircraft parts are transported within Vertical Aerospace on time and products / equipment is delivered to the correct locations

  • Planning and execution of all logistics activities in support of programmes when away from usual place of work.

  • Ensure our Enterprise Resource Planning system is correctly utilised and developed where required.

  • Continuously improve processes and lead projects to enhance the store operations

  • Support the Procurement Officers where required

  • Liaise with the Build Team Production Leaders and ensure there is logistics input to aircraft build activities as required.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience working in stores and logistics within a technical/R&D/production environment

  • Experience with process improvement/process development

  • Attention to detail and pro-active, 'can do' attitude
