Who You Are

Sila Nanotechnologies is looking for a staff level technical program manager with deep experience leading new products and solutions development programs. You will be essential to Sila’s success in developing next-generation battery materials for consumer devices and electric vehicles.  You will work with a multi-functional set of Sila’s teams in Materials Development, Process Integration, Battery Engineering, Product Management, Research, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Finance. 

 

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Create and drive plans for Sila’s next gen products and solutions, ensuring alignment of the overall business strategy with the company's critical milestones
  • Clearly translate business requirements into plans
  • Crisply and clearly communicate program status to executives, partners, and across teams
  • Drive decision-making and clearly communicate scope, assumptions, and results
  • Understand key interdependencies and risks that ripple through the program and proactively communicate plans with the cross-functional teams to swiftly integrate potential mitigations
  • Refine program management tools and processes, with a focus on purpose and value
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships and promote an encouraging program team environment

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering or physical sciences
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the battery industry
  • 5+ years as a program manager for hardware development
  • Experienced in establishing and effectively utilizing decision-making frameworks
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with proven creative and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate and communicate data and trade-offs clearly to varied audiences
  • Experience bringing together collaborator needs and expectations, gaining and maintaining collaborator support, and closing gaps in differences to drive alignment
  • Excellent leadership, analytical thinking skills, organizational skills, and high attention to detail


The starting base pay for this role is between $146,000 and $185,000 at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.LI-Onsite #LI-RS1
