Senior Software Engineering Manager
As a staff software engineer, you will work in a scrum team to build the next generation of world-class EV technology products in the realm of Core Services. This field of expertise includes building advanced access control, identity & role management, license management, Accounts, etc (a long list of shared services serving as the backbone for the various product teams), all based on cutting-edge technology stack.
You will collaborate with different product owners and product managers across various teams to implement and integrate the solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions.
We are looking for someone who is adventurous and eager to learn and try out things. Furthermore, your analytical and solution-oriented approach makes you an excellent self-starter.
Able to role play as a Product Owner, which helps the team in the creation and maintenance of the Product Backlog. Additionally help the team with the elaboration of the Epics, and Features into user stories.
7+ years of experience building back-end software
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Good in CS fundamentals - data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
Working experience with modern software architecture components (e.g. Distributed Systems, Containerization, Micro Services, etc.)
Hands-on with Java, SpringBoot, and related technologies
Working experience in one of the cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
Working experience with one of the popular databases
Understanding of API’s first approach
Knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools
Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI)
Familiarity with gRPC, Kubernetes, NoSQL, GraphQL, and Prometheus is a plus
