Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations. </p></div><p>The Staff Propulsion NVH Engineer will interface with body, chassis, powertrain, interior and manufacturing teams to set direction for implementation of NVH designs/treatments and/or to ensure amazing propulsion system NVH performance. Engage with the cross-functional teams to set robust NVH targets and ensure the proper and prudent designs are implemented to achieve targets at the component/system level, and work with the vehicle NVH teams on system integration for world-class NVH. The Propulsion NVH Engineer will be responsible to lead and execute test and simulations to root cause and solve challenging NVH issues. Additionally, the successful candidate will guide and mentor team members to “raise the average” of the team.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Development of propulsion system and component level NVH targets using benchmarking, simulation and engineering experience</li>
<li>Leverage simulation tools and team to provide virtual validation at early stages of design, and guide the design for world-class NVH</li>
<li>Test, analyze and root cause NVH concerns at various stages of design</li>
<li>Work with CAE teams to improve model/test correlation to enable leveraging simulation sooner</li>
<li>Work with the vehicle NVH team to ensure propulsion system integration is flawless</li>
<li>Represent NVH at internal design reviews to ensure good design standards for critical areas are applied</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 15 years experience in automotive product development</li>
<li>Experienced, and proficient in various data acquisition systems (LMS Test.lab, HeadAcoustics ArtemiS, etc)</li>
<li>Motivated and target driven</li>
<li>Experience in testing of components, systems and vehicles</li>
<li>Familiarity with simulation best practices</li>
<li>Big picture, strategic thinker</li>
<li>Strong leadership behaviors</li>
<li>Proven track record of ability to root cause and solve NVH issues</li>
<li>Proficient knowledge of electric propulsion systems</li>
<li>Degree Qualified in relevant engineering, or product design</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 12.0pt;">No drug or alcohol related driving incidents in the last 3 years</span></li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 12.0pt;">No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years</span></li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 12.0pt;">Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residence that you will be driving/operating a vehicle</span></li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 12.0pt;">Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring</span></li>
