About This Role:
This position is responsible for the planning, design, and analysis of electrical schematics and systems per client specification. Electrical schematics and system design includes integration into mechanical system models and drawings for use in fabrication and assembly of custom power and control products. This is a full-time role dedicated to creating innovative power solutions for mobile data centers and industrial applications.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer who demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive programs and activities of importance. You will be a key driver of technical excellence and a mentor to the wider engineering team.
What You’ll Be Working On:
System Design & Component Selection: Perform detailed design of schematics and electrical systems, and select components for use in mobile data centers, power distribution equipment, and industrial controls.
Technical Mentorship: Mentor and peer review other electrical engineers and engineering specialists to ensure high-quality design standards.
Documentation & BOM Management: Produce accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), assembly documents, shop drawings, and as-built drawings to be used both internally and externally.
Engineering Analysis: Perform analysis on designs of components and assemblies to ensure product integrity and adherence to customer specifications, regulatory standards, and engineering best practices.
Quality Assurance & Testing: Confirm submittal packages for technical accuracy and lead the development and execution of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate all equipment into project designs and work with Production, Procurement, and Project Management teams on continuous improvement.
Process Optimization: Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and design/execute continuous improvement projects to increase workflow efficiency.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Professional Experience: 8+ years of experience as an electrical engineer in a manufacturing, construction, or project environment.
Regulatory Knowledge: Highly knowledgeable of National Electrical Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and OSHA electrical safety requirements.
Technical Expertise: Experienced in the design, construction, and maintenance of low voltage (600 volts and below) power distribution systems and programmable devices (PLCs, motor-control, HMI, instrumentation).
Software Proficiency: Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) with AutoDesk Inventor 3D integration, MRP software, and Google Suite applications.
Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily.
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented with high-level analytical ability; must be a team player with a willingness to learn and take on additional roles as needed.

Compensation:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $150,000 - $170,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
