We are currently seeking a Sr. Tool and Die Technician, Stamping. This position requires an experienced technician with. The successful candidate will have spent considerable time working hard tooling dies. They will have experience with tandem/transfer dies for an OEM or Tier 1 supplier. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

You Will:
Individual should have advance understanding of MIG/TIG welding tool steel. Including but not limited to A-2, D-2, S-7, 4140 and O-1 steel.Must be capable of operating equipment such as mills, lathes, saws, grinders, and drilling machines. Must be able to grind tool steel and shim trim steel and punches.Must have ability to read blueprint or die/tooling details. Individual must have demonstrated ability to read measuring devices including calipers, micrometer, and liner calipers.Ability to troubleshoot dies and repair machinery and fixtures throughout the plant.Experience working with Aluminum sheet metal and class-A surface parts.Willingness to assist in ensuring 6-S standards of housekeeping are maintained in tool room area.Assists in ensuring safety standards and compliance with work rules are consistently followed throughout tool room.Reports safety issues immediately to direct report.Ensures Lockout / Tag-Out procedures are followed when working on equipment.Recommends shut down of equipment if found to be unsafe or not capable of performing to specifications.Works with team members / management staff to attain Company goals.Suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives.You Bring:
High school diploma or GED is required. Minimum of 8+ years prior experience requiredJourneyman card holder or trade school certificate required.Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience.Welding/fabrication experience.
