The Role:
Use a range of hand and power tools to teardown and conduct root cause analysis on battery modules and packs.
Operate assembly equipment including proprietary CAN-based development tools.
Perform electrical testing.
Document findings of component failures.
Retain confidentiality of testing, procedures, and data at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of workspace and inventory of related parts.
-Work with others in a cross functional environment and follow written and verbal instructions.Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience as a degreed technician (AA or equivalent ASE certification)
Excellent attention to detail while following instructions
Expert at using hand tools
Experience using electrical test equipment such as voltmeter and resistance tester
Basic knowledge and proper handling of battery cells
Familiarity with the safety aspect of batteries and battery testing
Basic knowledge of Excel and Word programsPreferred:
Experience in remanufacturing
Understanding electrical schematics
High voltage certification
Working knowledge of CAN communication
