We are currently seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join our Software Quality and Validation Engineering team. This requires an experienced professional with a background in Program Management. The ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination. The Role:

  • Define, track and manage software validation plans
  • Manage definition and maintenance of feature set, diagnostics, communications, and cybersecurity specifications of supplier software
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions with Product Management, Software, and Hardware Engineering teams to define the scope for a release and assess impact to different sub-systems validation teams
  • Define needs with Engineering Managers and coordinate allocation of resources between different validation teams
  • Coordinate with Engineering Managers to track validation progress and provide updates on different validation milestones in program meetings
  • Track issues, prioritize, and drive to resolution with urgency to meet expedited schedule
  • Support manufacturing and service teams with troubleshooting
  • Identify gaps and areas for improvements and drive to a solution
  • Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Software Development and testing in the automotive or related domain
  • 5+ years in Program/Project Management of large-scale complex programs
  • Experience working with customers, suppliers, or vendors to manage software delivery
  • Experience with task and requirements management tools like JIRA and JAMA
  • Preferred:

  • Knowledge of ASPICE, APQP, ISO26262, FMVSS and SAE standards and practices.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Vector, and/or Peak CAN based tools
  • Experience with languages like Python, C, C++ is a plus
  • Education:

  • BS minimum in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or similar)
  • Masters preferred
