We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist the development of Archer’s high fidelity aircraft simulators supporting validation and verification activities, handling quality evaluations, human factor evaluations and test pilot training</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with internal groups and suppliers to integrate, instrument and maintain configuration of aircraft simulation models in the real-time simulation environment</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain and improve the existing simulation framework that integrates the desktop simulation into a real-time environment</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build software bridges between real-time simulation instrumentation and desktop simulation analysis tools</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Design and build graphical user interfaces to control the real-time simulation environment</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Write drivers to integrate novel hardware using non-standard communication protocols</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist in the execution of test plans and test automation</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Need</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">4+ years of experience in a related field</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrated ability to architect large scale software following good design practices</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficiency in C/C++</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mastery of build systems (cmake or similar) and good understanding of standard software development tools:</span> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Continuous integration - TeamCity / Jenkins / Artifactory</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Version control - SVN / Git / Bitbucket</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Issue tracking - Jira / Zendesk / MantisBT</span></li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience prototyping Graphical User Interfaces.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Deep understanding of communication standards and protocols (RS-422/485, CAN, ARINC-429, AFDX, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB etc…)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent organizational and communication skills.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience developing real-time software for a Hardware-in-the-Loop aircraft simulator</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with model based development using Matlab/Simulink</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) or multi-projector technologies</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience supporting FHA evaluations</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Familiarity with or a passion for aviation</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h5><span style="font-weight: 400;">Archer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
