Key Responsibilities:
As the Manager of Sales Operations, you will manage a team in an agile framework to develop & maintain digital tools in the following categories: Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”), Configure/ Price/ Quote (“CPQ”), Offer & Contract Lifecycle Management (OCLM), and any other tool that enables Fluence to close more deals, that better align with our business objectives, more efficiently. Build a deep understanding of the Fluence products. Develop, implement, and maintain complex models that automate the optimization/configuration of our products for all sales opportunities globally. Leverage customer insights to establish and prioritize a system roadmap that best supports the needs of our business strategy Work collaboratively with colleagues across functions to gather input on, and build enthusiasm for your roadmap Work with Sales Leadership on devising sales strategies aimed at improving sales productivity focused on sales process standardization, digital tool adoption, and sales reporting (pipeline, performance) Develop and implement a robust Quality Assurance program for ongoing tool development and maintenance. Troubleshoot issues with key stakeholders in a timely & effective manner Maximize the return for our digital sales enablement and sales operations infrastructure investment Provide best-in-class leadership for planning, designing, deploying, and supporting digital sales technology tools Contribute to internal development through participation in areas such as training, methodology and toolkit development, and recruiting. Ideal candidate skills:
8-10 years of digital product management experience, sales automation, or sales operations experienceExpert in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)Coding/Automation languages preferred (VBA Scripts, Python, etc)Clean energy industry experience preferredExperience with Salesforce requiredExperience in Netsuite preferredExperience in Windchill PLM preferredExperience with Agile software development processes preferredBackground or demonstrated interest in digital capabilities within a sales operations organizationMBA or Master’s Degree preferred
