    WHO YOU ARE

    As a Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer your technical expertise and leadership will be critical to meeting our safety, quality and production goals. You will be the team’s go-to engineering support to address a diverse set of challenges that we face on a daily basis. Using a combination of deep process and equipment knowledge, you will efficiently solve production issues at their core with the help of dynamic and dedicated team members from across the manufacturing organization. You will also play a significant role in our long-term success by leading process throughput, performance and safety improvements; ensuring that the manufacturing team can consistently deliver more of our product to a growing list of customers! As we grow and scale our operations, you will have an opportunity to lead the implementation and improvement of manufacturing systems, processes, and tools that we rely on everyday to stay safe and productive. You will become an integral part of the manufacturing organization so that together we can make materials to power our future!

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

    • Provide engineering support for manufacturing tools and processes. Get passionate about firefighting, analyzing, and addressing operational challenges.  
    • Review quality non-conformances and work with manufacturing and external teams to develop appropriate response strategies.
    • Analyze production performance, investigate upset conditions, lead RCAs, and implement corrective actions to maintain high overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
    • Lead the development and optimization of production processes.
    • Serve as a key manufacturing representative on teams developing the next generation of production tools and processes.
    • Effectively collaborate with multiple teams to lead the implementation and management of scalable manufacturing systems that drive efficiency, quality and safety.
    • Act as a servant leader for all manufacturing operations team members through focused listening, consistent information sharing, mentoring and development/delivery of training.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 4 years of related manufacturing experience in the semiconductor, PV, chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, battery industry or similar. 
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a focus in industrial, chemical, mechanical engineering or similar field.
    • Proven technical understanding and ability to troubleshoot complex production equipment and processes.
    • Knowledge and demonstrated application of structured problem solving methods and tools.
    • Experience applying strong data analytics skills to assess production processes.
    • Experience using or implementing key manufacturing systems/tools such as: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Management of Change, Process & Product Monitoring, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Process Hazard Analysis, Incident Reporting, etc.
    • Leadership experience, ability to empower others and work autonomously.
    • Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Wear personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, and hard toe safety shoes.
  • This role may require routine on-call support during nights and weekend
