The Role:
Lead and build the team for power electronics systems validationManage validation of features related to ADAS, performance attributes, infotainment, comfort, safety, security, charging, thermal and HVAC system, Functional Safety, and HV & LV electrical systemsDefine test strategies while collaborating with quality assurance, development, systems engineering and product teamsLead creation of manual/automated test casesTroubleshoot systems/sub-systems/component using lab and measurement equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters as well as tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc.Develop standards and best practices for managing supplier sourced softwareDevelop metrics to track team performanceIdentify systemic gaps and drive improvement in test coverageSupport manufacturing and service teams with troubleshooting and issue resolutionCoach junior members of the team and develop capabilityQualifications:
5+ yrs of experience directly managing teams8+ years with hands-on experience in software development and testing, program management of large-scale programs & products in automotive or related domainExperience with developing and executing DVP&RExperience with task and requirements management tools like JIRA and JAMAPreferred
Familiarity with MATLAB, Vector and/or Peak CAN based toolsKnowledge of ASPICE, APQP, ISO26262, FMVSS and SAE standards and practicesExperience with languages like Python, C, C++Education:
BS minimum in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or similar)Masters preferred
