The Senior Manager of Trade Compliance is a leadership position requiring an experienced professional who will be responsible for all aspects of trade compliance for Lucid Motors. The role executes global trade compliance requirements and metrics; mitigates corporate, executive risk and exposure to penalties and fines from non-compliance with government regulations. You’ll lead a team of trade professionals globally managing daily import/export activities including daily interaction with customs brokers, vendors, couriers, freight forwarders and third-party logistics providers. Maintain import and export documentation, audits, and post entry programs in accordance with laws and policy. Develop trade compliance metrics and reporting. Drive a corporate cross-functional consensus behind a shared vision of trade compliance, collaborate with other departments to integrate trade considerations with business systems and processes. Lead compliance programs and initiatives, including new product introduction (NPI) efforts, country expansion strategies and development of cross-functional relationships at the peer and leadership levels. The successful candidate will have spent time launching new plants and/or new products in an automotive manufacturing environment, prior experience with EV vehicles preferred. The ideal candidate will exhibit a can-do attitude and approaches this opportunity with determination.

Role will be located in Newark, CA and will report to the Director of Logistics.
