We are looking for an Sr. Instructional Designer to join our corporate Learning & Development team. In this role, you will play a critical role in creating the educational content and optimal delivery methods to serve our fast-growing population effectively and efficiently. This role requires an experienced professional with the ability to apply design principles to create engaging tools and learning materials for people managers and employees. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

You Will:

Develop a wide array of dynamic learning content and experiences for the Lucid Online Academy, including on-demand e-learning modules, train-the-trainer sessions, and certification programs

Apply instructional design methods to facilitate innovative learning and development experiences to increase the “stickiness” of learning content

Leverage knowledge of the audience's needs, understanding of the subject matter, and effective design methodology to create visually appealing exercises, engaging activities, and supporting material to enhance the learning experience

Create materials using the most effective delivery platform such as instructor-led, e-Learning, virtual, on-the-job training, webinar and video

Define, develop and execute strong training programs for new and current employees across cross-functional teams and diverse target audiences to produce a world-class learning experience

Build strong partnerships with SMEs throughout discovery, design, development, piloting and delivery processes for effective learning solutions.

Partner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to create innovative solutions for a rapidly growing organization

Adhere to branding guidelines that is in line with Lucid Motors’ corporate standard

You Bring:

5 + years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 + years and a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge of Adult Learning principles and how to apply them in the development of dynamic learning material including, e-Learning courses, training videos, and presentation decks

Ability to rapidly master new technologies, methodologies, and subject matter expertise, and transfer this expertise into training content

Proficiency with content authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.)

Demonstrated ability to have copywriting and visual design skills, can translate complex concepts into simple, action-oriented language, and deliver education using a variety of methods such as webinar presentations, video tutorials, infographics, guides, interactive courses, and engaging workshops.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to detail, and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, manage parallel projects with multiple moving pieces, and have strong attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to learn new information quickly and strategize for the long-term

Demonstrated bias for action, work independently, and an ability to thrive in ambiguity
