The Senior Industrial Engineering Program Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Operational Excellence and will be responsible for implementing the Lucid Production System and developing a lean manufacturing culture, including taking the lead role in global Industrial Engineering activities related to new site and new product planning, as well as preventing waste and inefficiency in existing production processes by maintaining a high utilization rate of people and equipment.
The Senior Industrial Engineering Program Manager will also lead projects to minimize production issues, reduce costs, manage change, and control quality. They will design, develop and maintain tools, systems, and trainings needed to optimize process flow, efficiency, labor, and space. This position will require approximately 25% domestic and international travel, as needed.

You Will:
Support Manufacturing to ensure production schedule, cycle time, utilization rates, and cost objectives are metPlan takt time targets and equipment and line cycle times, overspeed requirements, and buffer conditions needed to maintain smooth flowDevelop and maintain headcount plans based on forecasts, with consideration of changes to volume, model mix, automation integration, and work contentDesign business systems to effectively capture and visualize factory performance, including all relevant metrics Create cascading, departmental performance targets based on company and site objectivesPartner with Material Flow Engineering to ensure efficient, on-time delivery of parts and materials within the factorySupport simulation activity to proactively identify and solve potential bottlenecks and limitersDetermine Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targetsConduct Make vs. Buy studies and provide guidance to Manufacturing Engineering teams based on careful analysisParticipate in studies related to Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for factory equipmentAnalyze data to identify focused opportunities for reducing costs and improving productivity, utilization, and quality Develop problem-solving and continuous improvement tools and systems to optimize employee engagement and factory performance Work with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement opportunitiesGenerate, publish, and present reports to senior leadershipSupport impact assessments related to proposed changes to product and process design, as well as changes to takt time, model mix, shift schedules, and other changes
You Bring:
Minimum BS in Industrial Engineering or other relevant engineering field5-7 years of related experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership roleKnowledgeable and experienced in applying lean manufacturing principles, with proven successes resulting from their applicationExperience with production process development, including process layout, equipment design, and standardized work creationSkillful in performing time studies, data analysis, and capacity analysis using relevant software platformsProficient with Microsoft Office suiteExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership
