We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer for the Advanced Lucid Emergency Response Team. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background with an Automotive OEM in a Product Quality, Field or Service Organization capacity. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Advanced Lucid Emergency Response Team (ALERT) Senior Engineer will be responsible for managing high-priority product concerns and potential Product Liability/Safety issues that may affect Lucid vehicles. Reporting to the Manager, ALERT Team, the successful candidate will oversee all escalated events to ensure Lucid protocols are followed and all legal, regulatory or compliance requirements are successfully met.

You Will:

  • Investigate high-priority product quality or potential product liability claims concerning Lucid vehicles in the field
  • Coordinate field events to ensure adherence to Lucid case escalation protocols
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to stabilize and secure each situation
  • Team with Lucid Product Safety Working Group (PSWG), Lucid Legal and internal resources for support, legal guidance and provide follow-up on regulatory actions as necessary
  • Coordinate teams to conduct Lucid product investigations, technical field reporting and parts recovery activities
  • Administer Close Loop Case Management principles to ensure all escalated field occurrences are closed within specified target dates
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time
  • You Bring:

  • Excellent technical and business writing skills
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Flexible and positive team player who can respond quickly to changing priorities, handle multiple projects simultaneously and support a wide variety of responsibilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and quality assurance processes
  • Proficiency with office productivity applications
  • Minimum of 5 years automotive industry experience, 8 years preferred
  • Experience in an Automotive OEM Product Quality, Aftersales or Technical Field environment is preferred

  • Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required. Specialization in Automotive Technology/Service/Engineering.
