Role
Have a good understanding of the Lucid Air for all customer facing parts for the Interior and Exterior Review molded parts pre-grain to ensure that the quality of the mold is acceptable to KO grainProvide visual documentation of issues related to mold prior to grain approval and work with supplier / engineer to address issues foundReview and validate the Pre Grain Approval Sheet from supplier and sign off document to start graining of toolCo-ordinate with SQE for shipment of pre-grain and AAR parts to Lucid for reviewAssess all AAR parts (wrapped, painted, chrome, MIC) to ensure that parts are meeting visual targets and are dimensionally stable to support sign off for PPAPMaintain a record of all parts that have been submitted for grain approval and AARProvide visual documentation of issues related to AAR parts and work with supplier / engineer to address issues foundSupport on site at supplier to help route cause issues as needed working with SQE and supplier quality teamsWork with the Craftsmanship Lab Technician to arrange for cataloged storage of AAR parts for future referenceSupport the CMF team to validate color matching of masters and partsImmediate need will be to complete AAR on Lucid Air but will require ongoing support on future programs.Must be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
Qualfications
5 + years minimum of automotive experienceExperience with supplier interfaceUnderstanding of color harmony, pre-grain approval, appearance approval and AAR.Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve resultsExperience with report writing and time managementExperience with MS OfficeAdvantageous
Strong technical understanding of automotive processes related to jobProven numeracy and literacy skills, good logical reasoning, and ability to translate business plan into individual objectives for staffDemonstrated capability of supporting complex projectsMust be self-motivatedUnderstanding of roles and needs of different client groupsEducation
